OLD DRAWING!

LOL, look what I just found while tiding up my drawing folders XD This was done for my Artistic Drawing class at Illustration, in 2006 I think.
We had to pick a classic artwork and make our version of it. I chose 'Ecstasy of Saint Theresa' [link] by the baroque sculptor and painter Gian Lorenzo Bernini, who I totally adore.
By that time I was in my 'Death Note' high so I decided to give myself a laugh and ... that's the result.
I should have made Light grabbing a pencil and the death note, but meh... too late now XD

Anatomy and composition is totally off, but since it pretty lolwut-astic I thought I may show you XD

I love Bernini's work too. I'd never seen it until we studied it in World Art, and I was absolutely floored by his sculptures. They're some of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

It's strange, but in a way, the idea kind of works with Death Note. The title had me thinking of bad yaoi fanfiction though XD.

es realmente chulo!!! si que es cierto que se nota un gran cambio cualitativo de este a tus actuales dibujos (yo quiero mejorar tambien buaaaa!!!) la idea es realmente buen, justo estos dias estoy releyendo "death note" ademas esta ilustracion encaja como anillo al dedo con la sensivilidad de la obra.
